At Bridgewater State University's College of Education & Allied Studies, in collaboration with the Childhood Studies Minor Program and other academic and administrative departments on campus, is conducting a daylong celebration of the United Nations’ Universal Children’s Day on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018.
For the third year, Paul A. Reynolds will keynote the day which welcomes 250 third graders from Brockton elementary schools.
Paul’s keynote will focus on about creative problem solving, based on his book, Sydney and Simon’s Full Steam Ahead, which he co-authored with his twin brother, Peter H. Reynolds. Andrea Calvin will be leading a creative writing workshop
Established in 1954, United Nations Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20th each year. The day is set as a reminder to bring awareness to improving the welfare of all children and promoting international togetherness.
