Internship Opportunties
Internships at Reynolds Center TLC provide an opportunity to join an enthusiastic, mission-driven team of creatives and educators. Interns will have a chance to learn a wide ranges of skills - from design, marketing, and non-profit development to educational curriculum design and professional development. Internships will be based out of our Dedham, MA location at TLC Studios & Media Lab, with flexibility for some hybrid/virtual work.
Because our internships are unpaid, interns must be currently enrolled students doing internships for credit.
All candidates must be:
Able to work 10-15 hours per week; NOTE: possible for some/all hours to be done off-site
Currently enrolled in a college or university AND receiving academic credit for internship
Interested in improving education and pro-social change through creative programs and resources
GRANT STRATEGY, RESEARCH & WRITING INTERNSHIP
This intern will assist the Reynold Center's grant team to identify and research philanthropic/foundation funds that support a myriad of RC-TLC initiatives.
Helpful attributes of potential candidates include any of the following:
Excellent writing and communications skills
Comfort level with productivity, social media and design tools, such as Google Workspace, Slack, Keynote, Canva.
Experience using online databases for research
Familiarity with CRM or fundraising databases, e.g. Zoho or SalesForce
Experience with non-profit development/grant writing is a plus
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERNSHIP
Intern will assist the Reynolds Center's marketing team to promote current initiatives and projects. Responsibilities will include content development and maintaining social media profiles (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, Blog, and e-newsletter). Additional projects may include researching and reporting on various philanthropy topics and maintaining mailing lists.
Helpful attributes of potential candidates include:
Excellent writing and communications skills
Experience creating digital content across various social media platforms
Experience maintaining and updating social media accounts
Familiarity with social media and e-commerce platforms
Experience using online databases for research
GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNSHIP
This intern will assist the Reynolds Center's marketing team to promote current initiatives and projects. Responsibilities will include content development and maintaining social media profiles (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blog, and e-newsletter). Additional projects will include designing print and digital marketing collateral.
Helpful attributes of potential candidates include:
Strong graphic design background
Experience creating digital content across various social media platforms
Experience maintaining and updating social media accounts
Familiarity with Canva, PhotoShop, InDesign, etc.
Knowledge of video editing and photography is a plus
Writing and communications skills are a plus
