Paul is passionate about the power of storytelling in education, and his keynote speech will explore the intersection of stories and STEM. Session—Andrea Calvin: The Curious Creator: Hands-on Making to Inspire STEM Thinking As the Vice President of FableVision Learning and core member of the Reynolds TLC family, Andrea Calvin works to inspire STEM thinking through hands-on creation. Her workshop will inspire curiosity and imagination in the minds of young learners, and all attendees will receive an offer code for a one year personal license to the tools used during the session and practical ideas for the classroom! Session—Sara Smith: Empathy-fueled Creativity: Why Stories Matter in Innovation Sara Smith is an experienced K-12 educator, creativity facilitator and curriculum designer who works with FableVision Learning to inspire creative thinking in teachers and students. She has supported multiple creative communities—especially encouraging the use of STEM to amplify individual’s voices.
