FabMaker Spotlight: What can you make on a Square

IMG_4746.jpg

For this FabMaker Spotlight we travel to New Hampshire. Donna Tremblay, Enrichment Teacher at Hooksett Memorial School, used FabMaker Studio with her elementary students.

Starting with a square sheet of paper, students used all of the textures, colors, and shapes in FabMaker Studio to design their own unique animal. Then, using the print feature, Donna encouraged her students to first print their project and cut it out with scissors. This process allowed the students to appreciate the difficulty in cutting a spike or skinny tail (something the Silhouette portrait does very well)

Is your classroom a FabClassroom? We would love to highlight your school! To be featured in an upcoming post, send an email to andrea@reynoldstlc.org. You can also tweet your photos with the hashtag #FabMakerStudio! For more posts featuring FabMaker Studio, click here.
