FabMaker Spotlight: Wind Power Challenge

There’s a FabMaker Challenge brewing at McLaughlin Middle School in New Hampshire. Over two weeks, Martha Bernier and Daniele Beals led their middle school students in an exploration of wind energy.

First the students learned about wind energy using the Wind Power Challenge - worksheet

And then designed their own pinwheel in FabMaker Studio to capture the wind and recorded their journey using the Wind Power Challenge: Engineering Design Process document.

Is your classroom a FabClassroom? We would love to highlight your school! To be featured in an upcoming post, send an email to andrea@reynoldstlc.org. You can also tweet your photos with the hashtag #FabMakerStudio! For more posts featuring FabMaker Studio, click here.
